Encore Guild

Took us a while but Arthas finally bites the dust.

Our 10m progression group is now 10/12 in ICC and working on Sindragosa who, not surprisingly, has the same annoying mechanics as several other dragons/bosses in the game. That means we should be able to kill her quickly if our shaman, who shall remain nameless, can get her pretty hiney out of range of the blistering cold before her hit points equal zero.

The 25m group is making progress too. PP is too stupid of an encounter so we're skipping him for now and moving onto Sindragosa and the blood wing. That means we are 7/12 and moving onto 10/12 quickly.

We still have a few openings for specific classes, specifically a shadow priest, warlock, disc priest and a few others. Please get in touch with Megilaran in game if interested in more details.

If there's one good thing this recession has brought, it's the ability to spend more time in ICC. However, there appears to be a shortage of talent at Blizzard since the all powerful Lich King (a boss we'd been waiting on pins and needles to see since WotLK release) was defeated by a guild within minutes of his release. The latest patch also introduced a heavily bugged Saurfang (who was nerfed two days later so any random yahoo can beat him), along with a reduction in hps for my DKs (as if they needed something new to bitch about). Despite all of the doom and gloom, I was pleasantly surprised to see this in the patch notes:

Druids
* Talents
o Balance
+ Earth and Moon: This talent now increases the druid's spell damage by 2/4/6%, up from 1/2/3%.

Because there totally needs to be more people rolling druids...
